(Day +3) Learning to knit

I’m still feeling well, I have been eating rice, cucumber, skittles and an ice lolly today. I’ve been doing some knitting and playing with my new shnooks. Sometimes it’s a bit boring but I have a tv in my room.

  1. Well done for giving knitting a go. Hope you are better at knitting than me! I am totally rubbish!!! My nanna tried to teach me when I was your age but I think she eventually gave up!I tried crochet and am better at that. One year I crocheted loads of hats for the Christmas Shoebox appeal. Lots of love to you Grace.xxx

  2. Hoorah for knitting!! I love it- although I’m very slow!!

I’m sure your knitting will be better than my crocheting ๐Ÿ˜€ Georgia enjoyed seeing Liv last Thursday after school and then we saw Liv and your Daddy at parents evening. Xx

  5. Hi Grace, itโ€™s really good to hear that you are feeling well, I always thought that hospital food wasnโ€™t that good but skittles and ice cream sound ok to me!! ๐Ÿ˜Š If you get chance while your knitting, I could really do with a new scarf ๐Ÿ˜‰.

  9. Hello Gracie
Great to hear your positive news ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Just keep knitting.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
I think knitting is a great skill to learn and I have enjoyed it on and off all my life, so grateful that my mum and Nan had the patience to teach me that and crochet and dressmaking when I was young. Learning how to put your mistakes right is a good way to improve too!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿป
(recently it’s been hats as presents for a few family members to keep them warm camping and caravanning and walking the dog๐Ÿ•
Do you ever help to walk William when you are well and at home I wonder?
If so, I expect you are looking forward to doing that again.
Have you watched any dvds on the tv in your room, or is it just for tv?
Get well soon and God bless
    Love Fritha xx
