(Day -27) Lots of tests

Today I went to BCH (Birmingham Children’s Hospital). First I had a heart trace and an ultrasound on my heart. Then we went back to Ward 15 to see Ange and have my kidney test done by putting radioactive chromium (clear dye) up one of my wigglies and took blood from a different one.

After that we went to talk to a doctor about how we were feeling, and then we went back to Ange to have more blood taken. Next we met my next door neighbour for lunch in the cafe, followed by a third blood test back with Ange.

Finally we went to the lung and breathing department and I had a peg on my nose and blew in and out on a special machine. Then I sat in a box with a peg on my nose and breathed in and out of a tube, sometimes she blocked the tube! Here is a picture of me in the box ๐Ÿ™‚
